![]() ![]() This was a massive leap from having to spawn items in with server commands. What I loved about creative mode was the ability to quickly spawn items and improvise given the situation, this was thanks to all items and mobs being at my disposal. The creative mode allowed me to be the ultimate controlling force within the game quite easily, in other words the Dungeon Master, or Game Master for all you Chainmaille players out there. ![]() Now this was fine, as the new creative mode had been released along with a treasure trove of new items I could experiment with. However using Mods presented its own problems and quickly my players became frustrated with crashes and lost interest in using mods. We could now play an entire Dungeons and Dragons campaign inside of a Minecraft server. As mods became more readily available I was able to expand upon the gameplay and instead of using it solely for building visualization assistance. My friends and I couldn't believe the structures we were able to create to bring our imaginary medieval worlds to life. For example tabletop games, specifically Dungeons and Dragons. Much of the magic, myself and my friends, encountered in this game was its extraordinary ability to cross over into other games. Anyway here goes, I have been following Minecraft since pre-alpha. I'm not sure whether this has been posted before, if so, please redirect me to the appropriate thread.
